St. Aposteln | Ambient Festival

Under the theme “Wisdom and Kindness,” the 11th Ambient Festival – Civilization of Love took place in January 2016 at the Basilica of St. Aposteln in Cologne. Over the course of three evenings, various artists from the ambient scene took the audience on a journey into unique soundscapes spanning the genres of ambient, classical, electronica, and experimental music.

As in previous years, 235 MEDIA once again created room-filling video compositions this year, which, with the help of centrally controlled video projectors, projected images throughout the entire church interior in sync with the sounds and rhythms to visually support the artists.
