Skulpturenpark I KölnSkulptur #11

With KölnSkulptur #11, Skulpturenpark Köln presents numerous outdoor sculptures by international artists. The works of eight contemporary artists address globally relevant topics such as technological developments in the field of artificial intelligence, the effects of climate change, current challenges facing democratic institutions, and the emergence of new economies.

235 Media provided technical conceptual support and consulting for artist Frances Scholz’s installation “Earth Wall”. For the project, 235 Media realised a 4.5-metre-wide and 2.5-metre-high outdoor LED wall, on which the video work is presented to striking effect within the park’s scenic surroundings. The artwork shows uprooted trees from a former quarry area, artificially augmented and imagined through Neural Radiance Fields.
