Museum Ludwig | 40th Anniversary

The Museum Ludwig celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016. The group exhibition “We Call It Ludwig” was the highlight of the anniversary year. The theme of this wide-ranging exhibition, which was conceived collaboratively by the director and all of the museum’s curators, was the museum itself. Twenty-five artists and artist collectives were invited to engage intensively with the museum and ask themselves what the Museum Ludwig means to them.

235 MEDIA produced the media installations for Ai Weiwei, Minerva Cuevas, Andrea Fraser, the Guerilla Girls, Marcel Odenbach, and Rosemarie Trockel.
