Draiflessen | Emil Nolde Projections

At the Draiflessen Collection in Mettingen, conceptual artist Mischa Kuball (*1959) explores the work and perception of the Expressionist painter Emil Nolde (1867–1956). As part of the exhibition “Emil Nolde – a critical approach by Mischa Kuball,” Kuball examines discourses surrounding the historical figure and explores, among other things, the mechanisms of artistic self-presentation.
