Slawenburg Raddusch | Archäologie-Ausstellungen
As part of lignite mining in the Lusatian Basin, extensive archaeological excavations were carried out, which contributed significantly to our understanding of the region’s cultural and historical development. Among other things, an early medieval Slavic fortification was discovered and reconstructed at its original site. This site now houses one of Germany’s most modern archaeological exhibitions.
Original artifacts are impressively displayed in showcases. Both the broader historical context and interesting details are conveyed through text, film, and animation using the latest digital media.
To this end, 235 Media installed four projectors, eight interactive touchscreen monitors, and an additional nine display case monitors. In addition, a media guide was developed to provide supplementary information.
